Egg donation is a medical process, which means your overall health is one of the most important parts of determining eligibility. Donors should be in good physical and emotional health, have regular menstrual cycles, and be able to safely move through the screening, medication, monitoring, and retrieval process. Lifestyle factors may also be considered, including nicotine use, drug use, alcohol use, BMI guidelines, and your ability to follow clinic instructions throughout the donation cycle. Every application is reviewed individually, and additional medical evaluation may be required before approval.

You will also complete genetic carrier screening using saliva, which gives intended parents and medical professionals more information before moving forward with a match.
